Here's a little about me!

Hi everyone! My name is Sara Anderson and I am a 22 year old girl trying to figure out her place in this world! Currently, I am part of the organization Teach for America in the state of Rhode Island. I ended up here working at DelSesto Middle School and actually was hired the day after my graduation from Lehigh University in 2018. In June of 2018, I hopped in my car from East Stroudsburg, PA and drove all the way to Providence. By.Myself. It was terrifying to say the least. But, I did it and after the first week of homesickness, I am now loving it. Good thing Freckles, my cat, was there to keep me company. Fast forward to today, I am almost done with my first year teaching 6th and 7th grade science and in the process of completing two Master's degrees (one at Northeastern and one at Rhode Island College). Don't ask me how I am doing it....I barely know myself. When I am not completing school work, I am out and about either driving somewhere or drinking a latte with my friends. Fun fact: I love coffee. Anyways, one of my favorite things to do is to hop in my car and drive to some random location and explore. Guess it's a good thing my boyfriend lives in New York...it gives me a reason to get in my car and go. Here's to another semester of learning!
